Nate Buzzolich Shares Hate Messages After Public Support for Israel
Australian actor Nathan, or Nate, Buzzolich says he has been receiving abusive messages because of his support for Israel and his decision to join the Israeli version of Dancing with the Stars. In an Instagram story, he published some of the insults he has been sent, including one message that told him to “burn in hell forever.”
Another commenter, calling him a “Zionist,” wrote, “F*** you and the thing called Israel, burn in hell forever,” while adding an obscene gesture. A different activist asked whether he wanted children with an Israeli woman. Buzzolich responded to the harsher comments with humor, saying, “I think she likes me.”
Buzzolich has become one of the more prominent foreign voices advocating for Israel in recent years, especially since the October 7 attacks. He is now appearing on Dancing with the Stars and has already had two performances with dancer Julia Shahar. The show’s next episode is scheduled for Monday night after the news.
