Australian actor Nate Buzzolic has revealed the abuse he receives online because of his public support for Israel and his decision to join "Dancing with the Stars." In an Instagram story, he showed harsh messages sent to him after taking those stances, including one that said, "Damn you, you want children from an Israeli girl?"
Another message he shared read, "Damn you and the thing called Israel, burn in hell forever," followed by a middle-finger emoji and the word "Zionists." Buzzolic responded to the criticism with humor, saying, "I think she likes me."
Buzzolic has become one of Israel's most visible advocacy figures in recent years, and he is currently appearing on the dance competition alongside Israeli stars. According to the article, he has already made two performances on the show with dancer Julia Shahar, and a new episode is scheduled to air Monday night after the news.
In earlier interviews ahead of the broadcast, Buzzolic said he had also received serious death threats because of the extensive support and advocacy he has done for Israel since the October 7 attacks.
