Roni Dinman Ventura has been appointed chief executive of the Israel Gymnastics Association, replacing Sarit Shner. The association said the decision followed Shner’s move to head the High Performance Sports Unit and came after an internal search committee reviewed candidates from within the organization.
The board said it wanted to preserve managerial and organizational continuity and chose Dinman Ventura because of the experience and abilities she has shown over the years. She began in gymnastics as an artistic gymnast, later qualified as a coach, led competitive groups for years, and studied law and business administration while also working as an attorney.
Dinman Ventura joined the association in 2015 and has since held several senior roles. Among her main contributions, the association cited a rebranding of the organization and Israel’s national teams, stronger media and digital presence, the development of competition-management systems, and the expansion of grassroots activity. In recent years she has overseen rhythmic gymnastics and headed the association’s spokesperson, media and public relations operations.
In a statement, Dinman Ventura said the association is “home, mission and way of life” and thanked Shner, association chairman Avi Sagi and the board for their trust. Sagi called her an integral part of the Israeli gymnastics family and praised her professionalism and strategic abilities. Shner said Dinman Ventura is “the right person” to lead the association at this stage and wished her success. Dinman Ventura lives in Hod Hasharon with her husband Avi and their three daughters, Matan, Shay and Doron.
