Roni Dinman Ventura has been appointed chief executive officer of the Israel Gymnastics Association, replacing Sarit Shenar after Shenar was named head of the elite sports unit. The association said it formed a search committee from among its own staff and, after several meetings, chose Dinman Ventura to preserve managerial and organizational continuity.
The association said the appointment reflected confidence in her long experience and abilities. Dinman Ventura began in gymnastics as an artistic gymnast, later became a certified coach, led competitive groups for years, and did so while studying law and business administration and working as a lawyer.
She joined the Israel Gymnastics Association in 2015 and has since held a series of roles, including leading branding changes for the association and Israel’s national teams, expanding its media and digital presence, developing competition management systems, and advancing grassroots activity. In recent years she has overseen rhythmic gymnastics and heads the association’s spokesperson, media, and public relations operations.
In a statement, Dinman Ventura said the association is “much more than a workplace” and called it “home, a mission and a way of life.” She thanked Shenar, chairman Avi Sagi, and the board for their trust, saying she wants to keep developing Israeli gymnastics for the next generation. Sagi said she brings professionalism, dedication, strategic vision, and deep familiarity with all parts of the organization, while Shenar said she is the right person to lead the association now and wished her success. Dinman Ventura lives in Hod HaSharon with her husband Avi and their three daughters, Matan, Shay, and Doron.
