Moshe Korshia has released a new single, "Tkufa," a highly personal song he wrote with Gal Jo Cohen and Almog Kriav. In it, he opens up about pressure, anxiety, restlessness, and the struggle to find balance amid life’s nonstop pace.
The lyrics describe exhaustion, loneliness and confusion, while also expressing a desire to stop for a moment and reconnect with himself. Korshia sings lines including, "I need to sleep and I am not sleeping," "I pray every day but I am not focused," and "Someone help me because I am afraid of myself," giving a candid glimpse into a difficult period he went through.
Korshia said the song came from a hard personal reality. "I wrote 'Tkufa' during a time when I was chasing the dream with all my strength. Three studios a day, working around the clock, and in the end panic attacks that woke me at night unable to breathe," he said. He added that the song is about the cost of trying to do everything quickly and his ongoing effort to find strength through prayer and faith.
He said he is learning to understand that not everything depends on him, that what is meant to arrive will come in its time, and that even in the middle of the race one can stop, breathe and give thanks. The song also reflects his connection to faith, with references to prayer, providence and letting go of control, including the refrain, "They told me everything is from above." Korshia is also filming the new season of "Mehubarim," where he is exposing his life on camera, and the new music continues that same candid approach.
