Singer Moshe Kursia Opens Up About Personal Struggles and Desire for Love on 'Connected'
Israeli singer and songwriter Moshe Kursia is set to reveal new, intimate aspects of his life in the upcoming 12th season of the reality show "Connected." In a recent interview, Kursia shared that he initially hesitated to join the show due to feeling professionally lost and creatively empty. "I felt like I had nothing to give, neither in music nor content," he said, explaining that participating in the show came at a pivotal moment for him.
Kursia promised viewers will see him in vulnerable moments rarely shared on social media, including times of anger, tears, and emotional breakdowns. He described the filming process as deeply personal, with the camera becoming "another part of my body" capturing raw moments that were sensitively edited for broadcast.
On a personal note, Kursia expressed a strong desire to find a romantic partner, admitting he sometimes distances himself from the idea. He hopes to stop running from love and seeks a joyful, patient woman with good character who can handle his emotional ups and downs. He also reflected on recent challenges, including difficulty renting an apartment in Tel Aviv due to his religious identity, though he emphasized this was an unusual experience.
Despite his growing fame, Kursia said he does not feel part of the celebrity world and prefers to maintain a simple life focused on family and close friends. His faith in God remains his guiding force, helping him endure tough times with trust that everything will work out for the best.
Addressing young religious musicians, Kursia encouraged them by noting that breaking into the music scene might be easier within the religious community due to less competition compared to the general public. The new season of "Connected," featuring Kursia alongside other artists, premieres July 1 on HOT VOD and NEXT TV, with regular broadcasts starting July 5 on HOT Entertainment.
