Guard Matt Coleman is negotiating with Hapoel HaEmek about a possible move for next season, and he may remain in Israel. Coleman played this season for Maccabi Ra'anana, where he averaged 19.2 points per game, hit 40% from three, and added 7.7 assists after arriving near the end of the campaign.
The 27-year-old, 1.88-meter guard was one of the top scorers in the Israeli Premier League over the past two seasons. In 2024/25, he played for Hapoel Haifa and averaged 14.7 points per game while shooting 42% from beyond the arc.
Earlier this season, Coleman also played for Russian club Enisey, where he posted 11.2 points and 5.1 assists per game. Hapoel HaEmek recently appointed Jonathan Alon as its professional manager.
