Sienna Miller is reportedly engaged to her younger partner, Oli Green
Sienna Miller is expected to walk down the aisle. According to reports, the British actress, 44, is engaged to her partner, actor Oli Green, 29, after the couple recently welcomed their second child together. This is the fourth time Miller has worn an engagement ring, but she has never married.
The engagement rumors began last weekend, when Miller was spotted in Barcelona wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her ring finger. She was also seen leaving a party in the Spanish city just one week after giving birth, and eyewitnesses said she “didn’t stop smiling.”
According to friends of the couple, Green, who previously worked as a model, has made no secret of his desire to marry Miller despite the 15-year age gap between them. “They are ridiculously in love,” said one close source. “They have a lovely family and they are always laughing together. He knows what a catch Sienna is and wants to make her his wife. Let’s hope the fourth time will also be her truest time, and that she really does make it to the chuppah.”
Miller gave birth in May, but has not yet revealed the baby’s sex or name. Last month, she told Jimmy Fallon in an interview that she was coping with very little sleep after returning to work just three weeks after giving birth as part of promoting the film “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” in which she appears.
“Putting together full sentences feels a bit challenging right now,” she admitted. “I barely sleep, but I’m madly in love with my baby. It’s crazy that I’m sitting here, talking and wearing a dress. What happened to my pajamas?”
When asked which of her children is harder to raise, she replied: “I thought a teenage girl would be the bigger challenge, until I flew yesterday on a transatlantic flight with a toddler and a newborn. The toddler wins, no contest. It was a total disaster. You can’t negotiate with them. By the time I got to passport control, I just fell apart.”
Miller and Green also have a two-year-old daughter, and Miller is the mother of Marlowe Ottoline Layng Sturridge, 13, from her relationship with her former fiancé, actor Tom Sturridge, who is now in a relationship with fashion personality Alexa Chung.
In an earlier interview, Miller spoke about the beginning of her relationship with Green: “I didn’t expect to take it seriously, but pretty quickly I fell in love. It wasn’t, ‘I’m going to find myself a younger boyfriend,’ it was more like, ‘Damn, why are you so young? That’s so annoying.’” She added that she sees a change in younger men’s attitude toward women: “There is a difference in the way this generation respects women. It’s specifically about him, he is very smart and balanced, but I think it’s also a generational thing. They grew up in a world where the starting point between men and women is a little more equal.”
