Natalie Dadon and Amit Perlis announce engagement after turbulent decade-long relationship
After more than a decade together, Israeli influencer and social activist Natalie Dadon, 42, and businessman Amit Perlis, 52, have formally gotten engaged, as first reported by Walla. Their relationship had long stayed out of the public eye at the start, but over time it became a closely watched on-off romance.
The couple welcomed their son, Riff, in 2016. At first, Dadon chose to go through the pregnancy and birth alone, and only later was Perlis publicly identified as the father. In 2019, after a three-year separation, they reunited, but the relationship continued to go through several breakups and public reconciliations.
Their most recent breakup lasted about six months, ending in March, when they decided to give the relationship another chance. On Sunday night, that renewed attempt appeared to become the most serious yet, when Perlis pulled out a large diamond ring and proposed to Dadon, who was said to be emotional and excited.
