Channel 14 announced on Sunday morning that Yaal Anker is joining its digital news operation as the health reporter for its C14 news site. The move is part of the channel’s continued expansion in digital content.
Anker brings experience in medicine and health reporting from television. She began her media career on the editorial and content team of the current-affairs program “News Morning” with Niv Raskin on Keshet 12.
She later deepened her specialization as a content editor and lead reporter for “Channel Doc,” a health channel, where she covered Israel’s health system, new research, and health trends. In her new role at Channel 14, she is expected to lead the health beat, deliver scoops and regular updates, and produce in-depth reporting from Israel and abroad.
Channel 14’s management said the appointment is part of a broader effort to upgrade the site’s content and widen its coverage. In a formal statement, the channel said it was pleased to welcome Anker to the C14 team and was confident that her proven experience and strong familiarity with health issues would significantly help expand the site’s professional and quality coverage.
