News Anchor Noy Bar Returns to Channel 14 After Four-Month Maternity Leave

Noy Bar, a news anchor for Channel 14, is returning to television after a four-month maternity leave. She shared her excitement about resuming her broadcast duties in an Instagram story, saying, "Today is the day, and it really excites me." Bar gave birth in March to a baby girl, joining her husband Uri Isaac and their first son Yonatan Shalom.

Bar announced the birth on social media, introducing their daughter as a "sweet redhead" who expanded their family to four. She revealed the baby's name, Achinoam, which holds special meaning derived from a verse in the Book of Proverbs: "Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace." The name Achinoam combines the concepts of pleasantness and peace. The family celebrated the naming ceremony at their synagogue.

In August 2022, Bar first announced her relationship with Uri Isaac on Instagram, and a year later, the couple married. Bar previously served as spokesperson for Minister Amichai Shikli before leaving government service last year to pursue new opportunities. Her return to Channel 14 marks a new chapter following her maternity break.
