Peri HaAretz Yeshiva, led by Rabbi Yehuda Leibman, is moving from Rechelim in Samaria to the settlement of Malkhei HaShalom in eastern Gush Shilo. The move is expected to create a large future campus that will eventually host many students.
At the same time, Leiv Hadash Yeshiva in Shilo will join the Peri HaAretz complex as a class and in practice will close. The combined arrangement means the two institutions will no longer operate separately in their current form.
For years, Peri HaAretz was headed together by Rabbi Yehuda Leibman and Rabbi Dudu Ben Nathan. With Ben Nathan now taking a sabbatical year, Leibman will lead the yeshiva alone in the coming school year.
