Israel’s Home Front Command held a renewed security assessment on Saturday night, as heavy exchanges of fire and extensive IDF strikes continued in southern Lebanon. The review focused on civilian defense policy and instructions across the country, especially in frontline communities and the north.
At the end of the assessment, the command said the current defense policy would remain unchanged. The rules will stay in force until Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. The Home Front Command said it continues to assess the situation around the clock and will immediately update the public through official channels if the policy changes or restrictions are tightened.
In the northern “partial activity” zone, the guidance applies to the confrontation line area and several specific communities in and around the Upper Galilee, including Sasa, Meron, Or HaGanuz, Bar Yohai, Yesud HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann, and She’ar Yashuv. Educational activity is allowed only inside a building or at a site that can be reached in time from a proper protected space.
Workplaces and commercial activity are also permitted only in buildings or places with access to a standard protected shelter within the required time. Large gatherings remain banned. Outdoor gatherings are limited to 100 people, while indoor gatherings may include up to 400 people.
