After a situational assessment, the Home Front Command decided to keep Israel’s civil defense policy unchanged. The current instructions will remain in force from Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. until Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. The command said it continues to review the situation constantly and will update the public immediately if the rules change.
For the confrontation line and northern communities, including Or HaGanuz, Safsufa, Miron, Bar Yohai, Yesud HaMa'ala, Ksra-Samie, Beit Jann and Sde Eli'ezer, under Northern Command guidance, educational activities may take place only in a building or location that can be reached by a standard protected shelter in the allotted warning time. Gatherings are limited to 100 people outdoors and 400 indoors, and workplaces may operate only in locations with access to a standard shelter during the alert period.
In the rest of the country, civilian activity continues as usual. Educational activities are allowed without restrictions, gatherings are permitted without limits, and workplaces operate normally. The Home Front Command noted that there are exceptions to this policy and urged residents to check the exact instructions for their locality on the National Emergency Portal or at oref.org.il.
