Israeli envoy says southern Lebanon launched 147 rockets at Israel in 24 hours

Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said that within 24 hours, 147 rockets, 20 drones and 9 anti-tank missiles were fired at Israel from villages in southern Lebanon. He said the fire came from 13 villages in the area, naming Kfar Tzir, al-Zahrani, Kharbet al-Duwayr and Tafathta among them.

Leiter used the attack tally to argue that Hezbollah is not seeking a ceasefire. “Hezbollah are a terrorist organization, Hezbollah lies, Hezbollah is the long arm of Iran and is not interested in a ceasefire,” he said.
