Northern outpost ‘miracle’ as a boundary wire stops explosive drone

An army rabbinical corps soldier named Elishiv installed an eruv at a military outpost near the Lebanon border as part of his service. A few days later, an explosive drone launched from Lebanon flew toward the area and became caught in the eruv wire.

The drone did not continue on its path. Instead, it detonated on the wire and did not fall to the ground. No one was hurt in the incident.

Military rabbinical corps colleagues described the episode as a "miracle," saying the wire prevented possible harm to the people who were present at the site. They said Elishiv had installed the eruv about a month and a half earlier while working at the northern outpost.
