With about 2.6 million students starting summer vacation, families are facing steep costs for camps, attractions, water parks and children’s shows. A price check prepared for N12 found that many leading summer outings can be bought for 30% to 60% less through consumer clubs than at the official ticket counter, and in some cases the savings reach hundreds of shekels for one family visit.
The report compared 2026 prices for major attractions and found wide gaps across clubs such as Shelyach, Haver, Tov, Pess Plus and Beyachad Bishvilcha. The main advice is to buy ahead of time, compare club offers before purchasing, and avoid spontaneous same-day purchases at the gate.
Examples include Shefayim Water Park, 152 shekels at the gate versus 105 through Shelyach, Tov or Haver; Yamit 2000, 154 versus 69 with Haver; Kiftzuba, 104 versus 55 with Shelyach; and the Safari in Ramat Gan, 119 versus 59 with Haver. Other major deals listed include Haifacham, 135 versus 50 with Shelyach, and Medabrim, 99 versus 35 with Shelyach.
Club leaders said the savings matter because family outings can become a major summer expense. Sigalit Cohen Baruch, CEO of the Shelyach club, said a family of five can spend tens of thousands of shekels in July and August, and that this is exactly when price comparison is most important. Gil Bar Tal, chairman of the Histadrut Maof, said that in a period of high living costs, saving tens of percent on attractions and water parks is not a luxury but a real necessity for many Israeli families.
