A price check of major Israeli attractions for summer 2026 found that several popular family destinations have become more expensive than last year, with some tickets now nearing 150 shekels per person. The report says this can push a family outing into the hundreds of shekels before food, drinks, fuel, and parking are added.
Among the hikes, admission to Yamit 2000 water park rose from 148 shekels last year to 154 shekels this year. Ramat Gan Safari increased from 106 shekels to 119 shekels, a jump of more than 12 percent, while Hamei Gaash went from 130 shekels to 135 shekels. There were also small declines, with Shefayim Water Park dropping from 155 to 152 shekels and Kiftzuba falling from 113 to 104 shekels.
Even with a few exceptions, the report says leading attractions are now close to the 150-shekel mark. Ticket prices are 149 shekels at Luna Park and Superland, 139 shekels at Meymadion, and 152 shekels at Shefayim. For a family of four, a day at Shefayim costs 608 shekels just for entry, while Luna Park, Superland, and Yamit 2000 all approach or exceed 600 shekels for four people.
The article says major savings are available through consumer clubs. Yamit 2000 can cost under 80 shekels through some clubs, compared with 154 shekels at the gate. The Safari can be found for about half price, and Midbarium in Beersheba, which charges 99 shekels officially, is available for only a few dozen shekels through certain clubs. Sigalit Cohen Baruch, CEO of the 'Shalekh' consumer club, said families should check benefits before every purchase, buy tickets in advance, compare clubs, and set a summer budget for July and August.
