Yaki Admakar, a panelist on Channel 14’s program “The Patriots,” sharply criticized the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran. He said it amounted to a “total fire sale” by U.S. President Donald Trump and called it a “humiliating diplomatic defeat” for him.
Admakar argued that the deal came after what he described as an exceptionally clear and impressive military victory by the United States. In his words, America was “one moment away from strangling the Iranian regime to death,” but instead of finishing that course, Trump chose what Admakar portrayed as surrender on the diplomatic front.
He also expressed deep surprise at Trump’s motives for signing the understanding. “I don’t know what is happening to Trump, I don’t know who is whispering in his ear,” Admakar said, adding that it could reflect “greed for money, economic greed,” or perhaps “something much bigger than that.” The remarks were made on “The Patriots” shortly after the agreement was reported.
