Reality personality Schnir Burgil says he has recently been keeping a low profile, skipping launch events and appearing less on social media after followers asked where he had gone. In a post published Tuesday, he said the retreat was deliberate and not the result of a conflict. "I chose to take a small step back," he wrote, adding, "Not because something happened and not because I was angry at anyone. I just felt I needed a moment for myself."
Burgil linked the decision to fatherhood and his shared parenting of his son, Alari, with his ex-wife, Shai Lee Ofri. "Since Alari came into my life, I understood what really matters," he said, explaining that he wanted to focus on what makes him feel good and to get away from the noise.
He also revealed what he is doing professionally now. Instead of attending celebrity events, he said he is working as a marketing setup and permissions manager at Landwer in the Beer Sheva branch, where he works in person. He noted that the branch belongs to him as a franchisee and described the job as regular shift work that includes managing employees and serving customers.
Burgil stressed that he is proud of the role and wants no stigma attached to it. "There is no job that is less good than another," he said, adding that anyone who gets up in the morning and earns an honest living deserves respect. He said people often chase events, launches and social media and forget that real life happens in simple moments. He also made clear that he is not closing the door on entertainment work, saying, "I am not closing the door on that world at all, I am just in a different period in my life, one I chose with a full heart. I am waiting to have coffee with you."
