American rapper Nicki Minaj discussed her career, faith, and the music industry’s Illuminati conspiracy theories in an interview on The Bryce Crawford Podcast. When asked whether there is “really a powerful group of people who control everything,” she replied, “My situation is a little different, I felt it was a personal problem.”
Minaj said that throughout her career, people with power and influence acted against her behind the scenes. But she stopped short of accusing any secret organization of pulling the strings in music, suggesting instead that her experiences were shaped by internal industry politics and personal hardships over the years.
She also said that when she was younger, she did not understand how much influence she had over audiences. According to Minaj, there are many lines in her songs she would now prefer to leave on the cutting-room floor and never release.
The interview comes as Minaj has faced backlash in recent months for her public support of U.S. President Donald Trump. Fans were disappointed by her decision to stand with Trump and his administration, which are seen as conservative and by critics as harmful to the LGBTQ community. Despite the criticism, she appears unmoved: just this week, she congratulated Trump on his 80th birthday with AI-generated images, including one of them in a pink car with Elon Musk and Sydney Sweeney.
