Rabbi Addresses Ritual Immersion for Men Before Jewish Holidays
As the Jewish New Year approaches, Rabbi Yaakov Sinai addressed the practice of ritual immersion, known as 'tevillah,' for men. In his daily Halacha (Jewish law) segment, Rabbi Sinai discussed the custom of immersion before Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
He acknowledged that not everyone has access to a mikveh, the ritual bath required for immersion. For those unable to perform the full immersion, Rabbi Sinai offered alternative solutions.
