A ranking of the Trail Blazers' highest earners for the upcoming season places Avdija at number eight with a salary of $13,125,000. This figure is significantly lower than the top earners like Ja Morant ($42,166,510) and Jrue Holiday ($34,800,000).

Sports Illustrated specifically lauded Avdija's contract, calling it "likely the best contract that isn't for a rookie." The publication noted that his improved play and potential All-Star status suggest he will command a much higher salary once his current deal expires. For comparison, his earnings are less than those of some rookies and other players on different teams.

Last year, Avdija was ranked fourth among the team's earners.
