Israeli Forces Dismantle Terror Cell in Jenin Area

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Friday that its Duvdevan unit, operating under the Menashe Brigade, apprehended a five-member terror cell in the Jenin-area town of Qabatiya early Friday morning. The cell was reportedly planning an imminent terrorist attack against Israeli civilians and security forces. The operation, based on intelligence from the Shin Bet security agency, resulted in the swift arrest of the suspects within ten minutes of Israeli forces entering suspected locations. During the raid, forces discovered and confiscated an M16 rifle and additional weaponry hidden by the cell members. The apprehended individuals were transferred to security forces for further investigation.
