Girl, 7, Killed in Tragic Accident After Starting First Grade

Hundreds of residents from the village of Kafr Qara attended the funeral on Friday of 7-year-old Siham Said Abu Poul, who was killed in a tragic road accident the previous day. The girl was struck by a work vehicle driven by a relative.

Her father, Said Abu Poul, buried his daughter and spoke of his grief. "She was in first grade, so happy when we bought her the clothes, books, and backpack for school. It was her first year in the new setting. Every day she would come back and tell me how happy she was, and we rejoiced with her. But this joy has now turned into sorrow and pain."

Abu Poul described his struggle to comprehend the magnitude of the tragedy. "I always heard about road accidents and families who lost loved ones and I felt sorry for them. But only after I lost my daughter did I understand how great the pain is, a pain that cannot be described in words. It has entered our hearts and our home, and every corner where we used to meet our daughter."

He concluded by thanking those who supported the family and wishing his daughter's school friends success. "And to you, my daughter, I will miss you, and I will never forget you."
