Rina Matsliah Releases New Book Based on Popular Podcast

Israeli journalist and media personality Rina Matliah shared her excitement upon receiving the first copies of her new book from the printer. Matliah expressed a mix of joy and sadness, dedicating the moment to her late family members. "My book comes out of the print today, I am a little happy and a little sad. I'm thinking of my parents and siblings who are not here to celebrate with me," she stated.

The book is timed for release ahead of the holiday season, with Matliah suggesting it would make a fitting holiday gift. The publication is based on her successful podcast, "Mom, Dad, and Me," which explored family histories. Matliah selected 20 conversations from the 80 interviews conducted for the podcast, compiling them into the book. She described the book as presenting a "moving mosaic" of the generation of parents, many of whom were immigrants.
