Two Injured, One Seriously, in Complex Car Crash Near Jerusalem

A severe car accident involving two vehicles occurred on Route 3755 near the settlement of Har Gilo, south of Jerusalem, on Friday. Emergency services responded to a complex scene where firefighters worked to extricate two individuals trapped in the wreckage.

A man, approximately 50 years old, sustained serious injuries to his head and chest and was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Another man, around 25 years old, suffered moderate injuries to his lower limbs and was also taken to the hospital. A third individual sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment.

MDA paramedic Shmuel Reinous described the scene as particularly difficult, noting the immediate need for medical intervention to stabilize one of the trapped individuals before extraction. Firefighters from the Judea regional station performed complex rescue operations, creating space for medical teams to treat the injured.

Michael Randy, the shift commander, stated that the intensity of the collision made the scene highly complex. The injured were evacuated to the hospital with continuous medical care provided en route.
