Two additional suspects were arrested in the investigation into the so-called "pedophile parents" case after a video was found on the phone of another suspect, Kan News reported Tuesday evening. The new arrests expand a probe that has already led to 10 suspects being detained.
Last week, the 10th suspect in the case was arrested after allegedly taking part in Telegram groups where pedophilic material was shared. According to the report, some of the suspects are parents who sexually abused their children, filmed the abuse, and sent the videos in those groups.
The latest development came after investigators from Unit 105 of Lahav 433 examined the 10th suspect's mobile phone and found the video there. The footage was apparently filmed by him and shows the two newly arrested suspects, with one of them seen sexually assaulting a minor.
All of the suspects have had their detention extended. The case involves alleged exchanges of videos depicting sexual abuse of children among the participants.
