Eran Zahavi Launches National Padel League and New Complex

Former Israeli national team and Maccabi Tel Aviv star Eran Zahavi is expanding his business ventures beyond football by launching a new national padel league, the "EZ7 Padel Tour," and a new padel complex he owns. The league is set to travel to various courts across Israel, aiming to unite the country's growing padel community.

At a launch event for his new complex, Zahavi expressed his enthusiasm for this new chapter, stating, "Football is always in my heart, but right now I'm focused on other things." He added, "I've fallen in love with padel and am trying to take it one step further." While acknowledging his continued affection for football, he reflected, "Of course I miss the pitch. We shouldn't dwell on what we don't have now. We need to be thankful for what we had and move forward, the world belongs to the young."

This move into padel comes months after Zahavi's official retirement from professional football. His business activities are extensive; a recent financial analysis estimates his net worth and bank accounts at approximately 250 million shekels, making him the highest-earning Israeli footballer of all time. In addition to the new padel league, Zahavi has real estate investments in Israel and Dubai. He recently purchased two luxury apartments in Yehud-Monosson for about 11 million shekels and has also taken on new roles as a brand ambassador.
