Israeli Ninja Warrior Star Wins World Championship Bronze

Israeli athlete Shneur Simach has secured a bronze medal at the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Beijing, China. Simach, 20, from Or Yehuda, finished third in the world in the 400-meter elite category on Thursday.

Simach's achievement is particularly noteworthy as the 400-meter race is not his primary discipline. He typically excels in the 100-meter sprint, which demands explosive power and precision. However, he chose to compete in the longer 400-meter event at this championship, requiring a blend of speed, endurance, and sustained focus, a decision that proved successful.

Simach first gained national recognition on "Ninja Israel," where he was the runner-up and the youngest competitor globally to complete the challenging "Mount Midoriyama" course. He has since achieved international success, including a silver medal at the European Championships in the 100-meter race and a bronze in the 100-meter event at the 2025 World Championships, also held in Beijing.

The competition is not over for Simach, as he is set to compete in his strongest event, the 100-meter sprint, in two days. Following his surprise success in the 400-meter race, he aims to win gold and become the world champion in his main discipline.
