Rabbis Call for Massive Protest Against Business Opening on Shabbat in Bnei Brak

Rabbis in Bnei Brak have called upon the public to participate in a large-scale demonstration this coming Shabbat, protesting the opening of a business in the city on the Sabbath. The rabbis issued a warning, describing the potential opening as a "severe breach in the city's walls unprecedented in decades."

The protest is scheduled to take place during Shabbat, a day of rest observed by observant Jews. The religious leaders are framing the business opening as a significant threat to the religious character of Bnei Brak, a city known for its strictly Orthodox Jewish population.

Following the demonstration, members of the Gur Hasidic dynasty are reportedly organizing a group trip to Jerusalem. This trip is in preparation for the first session of Selichot prayers, penitential prayers recited in the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
