Man Leaps Off Cliff, Shot Dead by Assassins Seeking Revenge in Nazareth

Two hours after a double homicide in Nazareth on Wednesday, assassins seeking revenge arrived at the home of Mustafa Badra, 27. Badra was sitting in his yard when an armed vehicle approached. He attempted to flee by jumping from a several-meter-high cliff, sustaining injuries. The assailants pursued him, shot him, and killed him.

This incident follows two murders earlier that evening, which have shaken the Arab community after a period of relative calm. Authorities suspect the killings are linked to an ongoing conflict and power struggle between criminal elements in Nazareth. At approximately 7:00 PM, Nour Nafaa, 31, and Nour Hallu, 20, a relative and neighbor, were shot dead in their vehicle by assailants firing about 20 bullets at close range.

Badra, the twin brother of Omar, was born after 14 years of his parents' marriage. His family stated he was planning to announce his engagement in about a week, but the joyous news turned to "heavy mourning." According to the family, Badra was in the yard with relatives when two gunmen emerged from a vehicle and opened fire. While others fled, Badra ran behind a room and jumped from the cliff. Despite his injuries from the fall, the gunmen caught up to him and fatally shot him.

His uncle, Imad Badra, expressed disbelief, stating, "We never thought we would lose the flower of the family." Omar Badra described the profound grief, saying, "I can't process this murder that took my soul." His mother added, "He was a loving son, clean-handed and active, and always did the impossible to make me happy."

About 500 meters from the scene of the double homicide, a burning vehicle, suspected to have been used by the perpetrators, was found. Paramedics confirmed the deaths of Nafaa and Hallu, noting severe penetrating wounds. Later, at the scene of Badra's murder, paramedics found him with severe gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead.
