Festivalgoers at Download, one of the world’s biggest and best-known rock and metal festivals in Britain, were shocked when a couple was seen behaving sexually inside a Ferris wheel cabin during the event. The incident happened while thousands of people were waiting for Guns N’ Roses to perform, and footage later spread on social media.
According to the reports, the videos showed the pair inside the glass gondola carrying out sexually explicit acts in full view of the crowd. In one clip, the woman was seen on her knees. In another, she appeared to be making sexual movements while the man stood behind her. Witnesses said the scene initially looked like ordinary close standing inside the cabin.
An eyewitness said that as the Ferris wheel descended, it became clear the act was visible from the ground. Some attendees first assumed the cabin glass was dark or partly opaque, but it turned out to be completely transparent. Once people realized what was happening, many began filming and the atmosphere quickly changed.
Leicestershire Police said it was aware of the video circulating online and had opened an investigation to identify those involved. The force said it was working with the festival organizers, and later confirmed that efforts to locate the couple were continuing.
