Maccabi Haifa to Sign Dixon Mohammed, Loan Him to Kfar Saba

Dixon Mohammed, brother of Maccabi Haifa player Ali Mohammed, is set to officially join the club in the coming days upon turning 18 and signing a long-term contract. Sources indicate that as part of a collaboration between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Kfar Saba, the young midfielder will be loaned to Kfar Saba until the end of the season, with the deal nearing completion.

The younger Mohammed, who is 13 years younger than his brother, has participated in first-team training sessions under coach Barak Bakhar, and the club has been monitoring his progress for an extended period. Initial contact with Dixon Mohammed dates back to July 2024, nearly two years ago, when his brother Ali, who is not considered a foreign player, previously served as his guardian.

The young midfielder is versatile, capable of playing as a defensive or central midfielder (number 6 or 8), and has also been tested as a left winger in some matches in Ghana. Club officials noted his style is very similar to Ali Mohammed's, characterized by physicality and the ability to launch quick attacks from the midfield. Last season, he trained with the youth team, which had a successful UEFA Youth League campaign, but did not play.
