Maccabi Tel Aviv has opened season ticket renewals for the coming campaign at Bloomfield Stadium, after selling out all season tickets in advance last season. The club said demand is again extremely high, so there will be no new sales to the general public and no option to change seats in the stadium.
Members of the FOREVER supporters club will get first priority to renew their seats, along with a 5% discount on the season ticket price. The club also introduced a strict new policy aimed at keeping Bloomfield full and reducing empty seats, especially in less attractive matches.
Under the new rule, any fan who does not attend at least 13 matches this season will not be allowed to renew their season ticket for next year. Maccabi said a season ticket is a privilege that must be used, and fans who cannot attend should use the club’s official RESALE service so another supporter can take the seat.
The policy is intended to combat so-called “dead” season tickets and maximize support from the stands every round. Prices were described as broadly similar to last season, with only modest increases: around 950 shekels for FOREVER members in the 10 and 11 supporter sections, about 1,300 shekels for adult tickets in the eastern 7-8 stands, and roughly a 5% rise in the standard price list in the central sections, including Gate 2 and the western 7-8 stands.
