Two Palestinians Killed by IDF Fire During Ramallah Area Riot
Two 19-year-old Palestinians were killed and one was seriously injured by Israeli military fire during a riot in the village of al-Muwaijir, near Ramallah. The incident occurred when stones were thrown at IDF forces. Earlier, settlers had arrived at the village, claiming two sheep had been poisoned. This led to mutual stone-throwing between settlers and Palestinians until military forces intervened to separate them.
About an hour and a half later, security forces entered the village to retrieve a flock of sheep that had recently been stolen. As they were leaving, the disturbance escalated, resulting in the deaths of the two Palestinians. The IDF stated that forces responded to immediate threats during a riot where stones were thrown at them.
