Two Palestinian Youths Killed by Settler Fire in West Bank Village
Two Palestinian teenagers, Omar Mohamed Nasreen and Khalil Abu Aliya, both 19 years old, were killed by live ammunition during an attack by Israeli settlers on the village of Al-Mughayyir, north of Ramallah, on Thursday night. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated one person with a gunshot wound to the neck and another to the back, transferring them to the hospital in critical condition before their deaths were announced.
The head of Al-Mughayyir village council, Amin Abu Aliya, stated that the attack was carried out by settlers under the protection of Israeli soldiers. He explained that army snipers positioned themselves on rooftops in the village center. When residents attempted to confront the settlers who were trying to steal sheep, the snipers fired live rounds at the villagers, fatally wounding Nasreen and Abu Aliya as they were being transported for medical treatment.
