Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Seen Packing on the PDA in Santa Barbara
Pop star Katy Perry, 41, and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, 54, were photographed over the weekend sharing a romantic picnic in Santa Barbara, California. Paparazzi captured them kissing and hugging in public, showing little effort to hide their affection.
The relationship first surfaced in July last year, when the pair were seen at an intimate dinner in Montreal, about a month after reports that Perry had split from actor Orlando Bloom, the father of her daughter. Trudeau was also going through a divorce at the time, after separating from his wife Sophie in August 2023, following 18 years of marriage.
Their relationship was officially confirmed in October, and since then they have reportedly spent a lot of time together. The latest picnic comes after their first public appearance as a couple last week, when they attended the Tribeca Film Festival in New York for the premiere of Perry’s concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour.
