Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Spotted Kissing During Santa Barbara Picnic

Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were photographed on Saturday having a romantic picnic in Santa Barbara, California, eight months after reports first linked them together. In the pictures, the pair, both wearing sunglasses and wide-brimmed hats, were lying on a checkered blanket, kissing and touching noses, with Perry on top of Trudeau as he held her in an embrace.

A video also showed them walking together, with Trudeau carrying Perry’s straw bag while she walked a few steps ahead and kept glancing back. The images were captured by paparazzi while families and children were playing nearby.

The relationship became public in October 2025, when Trudeau and Perry were seen close together. Days later, Perry acknowledged the romance in a birthday post. A source close to the singer said at the time, “Katy is very into it and she is happy. She is trying to keep it discreet and does not want to make this relationship public.”

Trudeau and his wife Sophie separated in 2023 after 18 years of marriage and three children. Perry was previously married to comedian Russell Brand, and in 2025 she split from her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she has a daughter.
