Indictment Filed Over Threats Against Tax Authority Worker at Prison

The prosecution has filed a criminal indictment in the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court against Victor Attia, 63, of Netanya, on suspicion of threats. According to the charge, Attia threatened an Income Tax worker who had come to the prison to deliver him a summons for a hearing.

Attia is being held at Shikma Prison until the end of the proceedings against him in the case involving the Abu Latif crime organization. He is already accused in that case of extortion, threats, money laundering, and additional offenses.

Attia denied the allegations against him. The new indictment adds to the legal proceedings he is facing while in custody.
