Jewish Orphans Dedicate Torah Scroll in Emotional Ceremony

A significant ceremony marking the dedication of a Torah scroll for the "HaBen Yikir" organization, which supports orphans, took place recently. The event featured a moving musical performance of the song "HaBen Yikir Li Ephraim," which has become a prayer for the orphans.

The musical concept, developed by Yaakov Rosemarin, blended ancient Hasidic melodies from the Vizhnitz tradition, including those by R' Yaakov Talmud and Melsky, with contemporary emotional music composed by Pinky Weber. The arrangement and orchestration were handled by Tzvi Levin.

Renowned singers Zanvil Weinberger and Ahrele Samet performed a powerful duet that captivated the audience. They were accompanied by the Narana choir, whose performance included the chilling singing of the orphan children themselves. The event was produced by Mendi Zelman, with stage production by Leiby Sheransky and sound production by Oshi Sharp. The visual content was managed by Moishe Eisenstein of Pixel Art, and lighting and sound were provided by Full Album. The cover art was designed by Ze'ira, and the photography and editing were done by Nati Albert.
