Toto Cup Final Postponed Due to Tel Aviv Marathon
The Toto Cup final, a highly anticipated derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, has been rescheduled. The match was originally set for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, but the League Management Company announced Tuesday that it will now take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 8:30 PM.
The postponement is due to a night marathon scheduled in Tel Aviv on the original date, which will cause extensive road closures. The league aims to ease travel for the expected large number of fans attending the final at Bloomfield Stadium.
As a consequence of the final's date change, Hapoel Ramat Gan's league match against Maccabi Tel Aviv, initially scheduled for Sunday, November 1, has also been pushed back by one day to Monday, November 2.
