Netanyahu Launches School Year Amid Campaigning in Ramla
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commenced the new academic year with a special visit to the "Ben Zion Netanyahu" school in Ramla on Friday. The visit coincided with the return of hundreds of thousands of students to schools across the country. Netanyahu met with first-grade students, wishing them a successful school year.
Also present at the event were Education Minister Yoav Kisch, Ramla Mayor Michael Vidal, and the Secretary-General of the Teachers' Union, Yaffa Ben-David. The Prime Minister's participation in the school opening event is taking place amidst his ongoing election campaign.
