Netanyahu Kicks Off School Year With First Graders in Ramla
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu officially opened the 2027 school year at the Ben Zion Netanyahu School in Ramla on Tuesday. He joined first-grade students in their classroom, sitting with them and guiding them through a joint art activity.
Netanyahu was accompanied by Education Minister Yoav Kisch, Ramla Mayor Michael Vidal, and Teachers Union Secretary-General Yaffa Ben-David. He met with the incoming first graders, wishing them success as they begin their educational journey. "A successful school year to all students in Israel!" the Prime Minister declared.
During his visit, Netanyahu expressed his appreciation for the teaching staff. Upon his arrival, he was greeted with Israeli flags and music. He then entered a classroom and participated in an art project alongside the children, instructing them on how to complete it. "Let's all take this 'shin' [letter of the Hebrew alphabet] and fill it with color," Netanyahu told the children as they continued their activity.
