IDF Condemns Mosque Arson Near Nablus, Citing Stability Threat

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) condemned an incident today where a mosque was set on fire and graffiti was sprayed near the village of Bazariya, north of the Palestinian city of Nablus in the West Bank. IDF forces were dispatched to the scene following reports and documentation of the attack. The suspects reportedly fled before security forces arrived, and no injuries were reported.

The IDF stated that such acts harm the residents of the area and regional security stability, diverting security forces' attention from their counter-terrorism and defense operations. Some of the graffiti found at the scene was directed at U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Harkavy and Kan 11 journalist Roi Sharon.
