Gadi Yevarkan Launches New Party, Declares 'Third Camp on the Right'

Former Knesset member and deputy minister Gadi Yevarkan launched a new political party, "Beit Yisrael" (House of Israel), on Monday in Petah Tikva. The launch event, held in partnership with the "Tzomet" party led by Moshe Green, was attended by thousands of reservists, social activists, council members, rabbis, and spiritual leaders from the Ethiopian Jewish community.

Yevarkan declared the new movement, alongside Tzomet, as the "Third Camp on the Right," aiming to establish a new right-wing Zionist bloc that blends national security values with social and economic concerns. The party's platform centers on a comprehensive plan for equal rights and responsibilities for all citizens, based on the principle of mandatory contribution to the state.

This contribution could take various forms, including service in the IDF, police, rescue services, healthcare, education, or welfare systems. Those who serve would receive significant benefits, such as increased pay and preference in public sector employment. Conversely, individuals who do not serve without justification would face severe economic and civil sanctions, including exclusion from public sector jobs, cancellation of government subsidies, and full-cost payment for civil services.

Yevarkan stated that the working and serving public would no longer be mere "vote contractors" but would demand full partnership in leading the country. Moshe Green added that the union revives the "working, serving, and settling right" that focuses on strengthening the periphery and rural areas. The political alliance also includes the "Mila" (Reservists for the People) organization, led by Nitzan Alimalech, and other reservists.
