Maccabi Tel Aviv's Professional Director Confirms Owner Mitch Goldhar's Full Involvement

Maccabi Tel Aviv's professional director, Steven Vranjes, has emphatically stated that owner Mitch Goldhar is "100%" involved in the club's daily operations, dismissing any doubts about his commitment. "Nobody can question that. We talk about everything on a daily basis," Vranjes asserted, addressing recent criticisms regarding the club's management.

The club is experiencing a successful period both on the field, following a 3-1 victory over Maccabi Haifa, and in its behind-the-scenes dealings. Maccabi Tel Aviv announced the signing of Gabi Kanyukovsky and is reportedly close to acquiring Scottish player James Tavernier. The team is also seeking an Israeli striker, with Guy Melamed being a potential target, while Tyris Asante and Roy Revivo are expected to remain with the club.

Club officials acknowledged that summer transfers took longer than anticipated, emphasizing their humane approach to players like Yonatan Nikolasco and Kervin Andrade. They also refuted reports suggesting Goldhar's potential departure, stressing that such a move is not under consideration.

In recent acquisitions, the club exercised its option on Christian Blic and purchased Ester Sokler, in addition to signing Dan Glazer from Kairat. Furthermore, Kenny Miller has been appointed as the permanent head coach, having previously served as a temporary replacement for Roni Dila at the end of last season.
