Netanyahu's Wife Mocks Golan's 7/10 Actions, Questions PM's Need to Know

Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, sarcastically questioned on Monday why her husband, the Prime Minister, needed to be informed about the October 7th Hamas attack, contrasting his alleged delayed reaction with that of Democratic Party chairman Yair Golan.

In an interview with Channel 14, she stated, "You claim you were a fighter on October 7th, you were already there early in the morning, dressed and ready. At a very early hour, when others didn't know, such as the Prime Minister. In general, who is the Prime Minister that needs to know a war has broken out, why inform him?" she asked cynically.

When directly asked about her stance on the "betrayal theory," which suggests internal Israeli assistance to the Hamas attack, she responded, "I don't want to talk. I don't know. Let there be a real investigation committee."

The Democratic Party issued a strong condemnation of her remarks, calling them "lies and slander" and a "red line bordering on madness." The party asserted that while Netanyahu was "running to put on makeup and look for excuses," Golan "charged in and saved lives." The party concluded, "The facts will not change, no matter how much the Netanyahu family and Channel 14 try to rewrite them."
