Netanyahu's Wife Hints Opposition Leader Knew of Oct. 7 Attack Early

Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has suggested that Yair Golan, leader of the opposition party The Democrats, may have been aware of the October 7th Hamas attacks before the Prime Minister himself.

In a rare interview with Channel 14 on Monday, Sara Netanyahu stated, "You claim you are a fighter on October 7th, you were already dressed and ready early in the morning. At a very early hour, when others did not know, such as the Prime Minister."

She added sarcastically, "In general, who is the Prime Minister that needs to know a war is breaking out, why inform him?" When asked about the "betrayal theory" from within on October 7th, she responded, "I don't want to talk. I don't know. Let there be a real investigative committee."

The Democrats party issued a strong condemnation of Sara Netanyahu's remarks. A statement from the party read, "The party strongly condemns the hateful and false words of Sara Netanyahu tonight on Channel 14. Spreading conspiracies against Major General Yair Golan, and smearing his heroism on October 7th, are crossing a red line bordering on madness."

The party contrasted Golan's actions with the Prime Minister's, stating, "When Netanyahu ran to put on makeup and look for excuses, Yair Golan charged and saved lives. The facts will not change. No matter how much the Netanyahu family and Channel 14 try to rewrite them."
