Expert: Iran Fears Netanyahu and Sharon "Deathly"

Eliyahu Yosian, founder of the "Homeland Jewish" movement and a graduate of Unit 8200, stated that Iran fears two Israeli figures intensely: the late Ariel Sharon and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Speaking on the radio program "We Are the Majority" on "Galei Yisrael," Yosian described Netanyahu as being known in Iran as "The Chess Player."

Yosian praised Netanyahu's policy in combating Iran's nuclear program, contrasting it with other Israeli political candidates. He asserted that all other candidates have publicly stated the need to consider a future where Israel coexists with a nuclear Iran. Yosian highlighted Netanyahu's international achievements, claiming he made Iran's nuclear program his life's work, convinced the United States to withdraw from the nuclear deal, and prompted US attacks against Iran.

Yosian believes Netanyahu is uniquely positioned to handle the Iranian threat, emphasizing that the Prime Minister has made confronting the nuclear program his primary focus. He credited Netanyahu with transforming the international approach to the Iranian nuclear issue.
